I have been described as a very optimistic pessimist.
By day, I am a copy jock. By night, I sleep. The magic happens inbetween …
I have been creating and painting and drawing and photographing and thinking big thoughts since I was small: started painting in oil at age 8 (began exhibiting around age 12); started sewing in my twenties; pyrography in my thirties; published fashion photographer; BA in technical theatre (where my love of power tools began); and, one day, I might pursue a masters in something.
Naturel Mistik is the outlet for my creativity and overflowing fabric collection. My inspiration comes from almost everywhere – music, nature, native cultures around the world, books, movies and more. Most of the items I make are OOAK. Sometimes I get in a groove and make more than one of the same item, however, no two will be exactly alike.
I really like algebra, dictionaries, octopodes, and music. Favorite smells: the ocean, freshly mowed grass, coffee beans, boxwoods, Inish perfume. My current favorite color is blue and green.
